La Villa Angeli

History

Guy Mizael and his brothers, Alain and Jean-Pierre, took over this estate to give it a new lease of life. The vineyard was restructured in a qualitative approach and, ten years later, supported by the technical team of the Cave de la Marana, these vines gave rise to great vintages. Today, Guy, his wife Marie-Françoise and their daughters Caroline and Sabrina revive this family property with motivation and ambition. Their work is rewarded with numerous medals and distinctions.

A family estate on the eastern coast of Corsica, Villa Angeli produces cuvées in each colour, according to the altitude of the planting of the plots and the geological layers of its terroirs.

The Vineyard

The estate extends over the hills that dominate the famous Roman site of Aleria, on the eastern coast of Corsica, between sea and mountain. Its vines have their roots in these Roman remains, in the Corsican AOC area of the municipality of Antisanti, in the foothills of the Tavignano valley. Thirty hectares are planted with Niellucciu, Grenache, Sciaccarellu, Cinsault and Vermentinu. They make it possible to produce different cuvées in each colour.

Certifications
